There are many notes and chords that are listed along the fret and these normally vary by the type of guitar. 5) If you hear the term “pick up”, it refers to the device that picks up the transmission of sounds coming from the guitar. Normally, you will hear this particular term when you are dealing directly with bass guitars and electric guitars. 6) The amp is a term that is used to label the amplifier. The amp acts like a speaker in which transmits the sounds that are being played on the guitar into louder more precise sounds that can be heard clearly. 7) The pick is the small little piece that is used to pluck the strings of the guitar.
